What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Dress code is semi-formal. We only have one firm rule: no denim.

The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside on the lawn, so please choose footwear accordingly.

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

Wear whatever you want to the welcome party!

When should I arrive for the ceremony and where should I park?

The ceremony will begin at 4pm on the dot, please try to arrive closer to 3:30 to allow yourself a bit of time for parking and finding a seat.

There is plenty of parking available at the venue. Uber and Lyft are also available.

Can I take photos myself during the ceremony?

You can, but we encourage you to be present in the moment and allow the professional photographer to capture all the angles without phones in the shot. We want to see your smiling faces, not your phone cases. (Jamieson is very proud of his rhyme, please clap.)

Where should I stay?

We have a limited number of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn Groton, please mention “The Hodges Weiss Wedding” when booking.

Unbooked rooms will be released September 1st. There are plenty of AirBnB/VRBO and other hotel options available, several of which we suggest here.

My RSVP status has changed, what should I do?
